Yesterday we welcome colleagues from Vision for Education and the Easter bunny into the academy to present Easter eggs to over seventy pupils across the academy, all had 100% attendance and excellent behaviour this half term. Each half term we celebrate a wide range of achievements in the academy. Well done to all who received certificates and Easter Eggs yesterday.

For many parents of children with Autism the thought of taking their son/daughter shopping in a busy environment conjures thoughts of dread. Now the Metro Centre is supporting parents by offering a range of services for children with Autism to make the environment more accessible, including quiet hours and more recently sensory bags.

We will be hosting a decorated Easter egg competition in school on Thursday, pupils can show off their creative talents by bringing their egg entries into school to be judged on Thursday, big thanks to Hays Travel in Peterlee for donating prizes for the competition.
